The I-SPHERE team are excited to be hosting a series of seminars with fantastic speakers over the next few weeks and months.
On 26th February, Professor John McKendrick, Director the Scottish Poverty and Inequality Research Unit (SPIRU) at Glasgow Caledonian University will be talking about his research on the impact of poverty on children’s play.
On 9th March, we welcome Dr Cameron Parsell from The University of Queensland, Australia to lead a seminar entitled Soothing, solving or something else? Reflecting on charitable responses to homelessness. This will be followed with a response from Ewan Aitken, CEO of Cyrenians
On 18th March, Dr Delma Byrne from Maynooth University in Ireland will share her findings on Social stratification and the sociology of education.
In April we are joined by Paul Anderson from Homelessness Link to share his insights on how the Homeless Reduction Act came into being.
