Paid Internship Programme on Homelessness with The Oak Foundation and I-SPHERE – Deadline for applications 9th August 2017

Applications are now invited for the first round of a series of paid internships on the theme of homelessness, offered by the Oak Foundation in partnership with the Institute of Social Policy, Housing and Equalities Research (I-SPHERE) at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. The duration of the internship is 6 months and it is paid at the London Living Wage. Candidates may be based anywhere in the UK and are expected to work closely with Oak Foundation staff in London or further afield.

The Oak Foundation is an international philanthropic foundation funding projects in conservation, human rights, abuse, housing, learning disabilities, and other social justice issues. In its Housing and Homelessness Programme, the Foundation focuses on preventing homelessness by funding sustainable solutions that improve the economic and social wellbeing of marginalised youth, adults and families. I-SPHERE is a leading UK research centre in the fields of housing, poverty and social policy with a major international reputation.
